No Pockets In A Shroud

When you’re final days they fall upon you
what will you really need
Will you give two fucks about your bank books
those shares or mortgage deeds

Will you really need that Twitter feed
and all them folk that follow
Ain’t it funny how you only need money
just in case you don’t die tomorrow

When you’re final days they fall upon you
when palms are pressed and heads are bowed
Before they close your eyes you’ll realise
there are no pockets in a shroud
